Project Budget Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily financial oversight of simple to moderately complex studies related to the functional area's segment of a project budget.

• Evaluate contract and bidding assumptions.

• Conduct monthly analysis of budget-to-actual data or as required.

• Revise resource forecasts and unit grids in collaboration with the project lead.

• Address and resolve issues related to resource forecasts, unit grids, and contract amendments.

• Supervise the financial components of the functional area's segment of projects alongside other departments and the project lead.

• Assist in identifying risks and clarifying reasons for unsupported hours.

• Participate in risk meetings as necessary.

• Prepare estimates for contract amendments.

• Collaborate across departments and with functional project leads to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, typically equivalent to 2+ years.

• 2+ years of experience in complex project management, including resource allocation against budget, forecasting, and coordination of quantitative and analytical tasks, preferred.

• Equivalent qualifications may include a blend of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience.

• Proficient budgeting and forecasting abilities.

• Strong analytical skills with effective data handling capabilities.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, for data analysis and presentation.

• Good grasp of project management principles and their application.

• Ability to multitask effectively.

• Capacity to work independently.

• Ability to mentor others and foster teamwork in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Strong organizational skills with the capability to adapt to shifting priorities.

• Excellent teamwork abilities.

• Willingness to occasionally drive to site locations and travel both domestically and internationally.
