Project Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Project Management Team to accurately document actual units and their corresponding value on a monthly basis.

• Project future units and revenue accurately in conjunction with the Project Management Team.

• Assess actual hours and costs against the budget to ensure profitability.

• Review anticipated resource assignments in relation to projected work.

• Ensure invoices are issued promptly as necessary.

• Track the overall project cash position, including services, PTCs, grants, outstanding invoices, and advances.

• Accurately input financial data into the required systems.

• Ensure compliance with audit standards and assist in year-end and interim audit processes.

• Facilitate the Change Order process by documenting scope alterations and reviewing/approving Change Order budgets and payment schedules.

• Stay updated on local and global revenue regulations.

• Deliver precise and timely client reporting in accordance with client specifications.

• Engage in projects and specialized areas as agreed upon with Lead/Senior Project Analysts.

• Raise any financial concerns through the proper channels.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a 4-year equivalent qualification.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Knowledge of project financial elements from Study Award to Project Close Out.

• Familiarity with revenue recognition based on a percent-complete method.

• Capability to create financial presentations and convey them to non-financial colleagues and clients.

• Ability to influence and challenge as necessary.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred experience in business or finance.

• Capacity to work independently, with demonstrated proficiency considered for advancement.
