Programme Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and deliver one or more software projects or related project programs within defined scope, timeline, and budget.

• Establish delivery methodologies, which may include Agile, Scrum, or hybrid frameworks.

• Manage roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs effectively.

• Monitor budget, resource utilization, profitability, and forecasts consistently.

• Identify potential risks, escalate issues with mitigation strategies, and uphold quality, security, and compliance standards for regulated clients.

• Provide guidance to C-level and senior client executives, particularly in the banking and fintech sectors.

• Facilitate steering committees and executive review meetings.

• Clearly report on progress, risks, and decisions in English.

• Manage expectations, change requests, and commercial discussions in collaboration with Sales and Account Management.

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, QA, business analysts, and designers across both onshore and offshore locations.

• Mentor team members, mediate conflicts, and ensure high delivery quality and team morale.

• Assist with resource planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes alongside Talent Acquisition and Delivery leadership.

• Document lessons learned and disseminate best practices for delivery.

• Implement tools and AI-assisted methodologies to enhance estimation, reporting, and delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a Project Manager role or a closely related position such as Programme Manager or Delivery Manager.

• Proficient in English communication at a B2 level or higher, both written and verbal.

• Direct experience working with C-level executives.

• Background in the banking or fintech industry.

• Proven track record in delivering software, digital banking, payments, lending, or core-system modernization projects.

• Experience managing programs that involve multiple concurrent projects or vendors.

• Possession of certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and security standards, including State Bank of Vietnam requirements, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.

• Familiarity with offshore or distributed delivery models.

• Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
