This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Spearhead innovative modernization and maintenance initiatives for vital enterprise systems within the defense and national security sectors.
• Direct projects that encompass analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, conversion, extension, and the implementation of automated information and telecommunications systems.
• Oversee comprehensive contract support operations across various projects, teams, and locations.
• Organize, lead, and coordinate the planning and execution of contract support activities.
• Act as Project Manager for a significant, intricate task order or a portfolio of related task orders.
• Collaborate with Government Contracting Officers, Task Order Managers, Government leadership, and customer stakeholders.
• Supervise daily task order management and ensure technical, operational, cost, schedule, and performance goals are met.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to provide technical solutions on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Identify program risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and address execution challenges.
• Guarantee effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Must possess a Project or Program Management certification, such as PMP or another equivalent recognized certification.
• Certifications in Project or Program Management from accredited institutions are mandatory.
• Alternatives such as training, degrees, or relevant experience may be considered if equivalency to certification is clearly demonstrated.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in managing large, complex IT or consulting programs.
• Proven experience leading enterprise programs with 50 or more personnel.
• Experience administering programs with annual contract values exceeding $10 million.
• Background in leading application modernization projects, including transitioning from legacy or custom-developed applications to low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian.
• Proficient in overseeing the entire project lifecycle: requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, user adoption, and operational transition.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary technical teams and working collaboratively with executive leadership, Government clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance.
• SAFe Agile Certification or an industry-recognized equivalent is preferred.
