Program Manager – Production Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic partner for key clients and oversee their production journey from prototype to large-scale manufacturing.

• Be the sole point of accountability for the manufacturing success of customers.

• Oversee intricate production projects involving CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and other manufacturing processes.

• Address DFM concerns, select suppliers, meet quality standards, and tackle scale-up challenges.

• Assist customers in transitioning from prototyping to mass production.

• Proactively identify and resolve supply chain and production issues.

• Convert engineering specifications, supplier capabilities, and business timelines into actionable plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in custom mechanical manufacturing, covering CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, casting, or related processes.

• Proven experience managing production projects throughout their entire lifecycle.

• A history of collaborating with demanding clients on intricate technical projects.

• Comprehensive knowledge of DFM, tolerances, material selection, and manufacturing methodologies.

• Customer-focused with a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.

• Experience in startup environments and the ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.

• Capability to discuss GD&T with engineers and address business constraints with COOs.

• Proficient in anticipating production challenges and responding swiftly.

• A degree in mechanical engineering is advantageous.

• Experience in scaling products from prototype to high-volume production is preferred.

• Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and supplier management is a plus.

• Experience in US-based manufacturing is an added advantage.
