This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for managing cyclical and strategic People Team programs, such as talent reviews, merit cycles, engagement surveys, post-program evaluations, and overall employee lifecycle management, executing these initiatives meticulously while aiding in their evolution towards scalable, automated delivery.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and tracking tools that ensure cross-functional projects remain on schedule and are visible to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Recognize process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to enhance how the People Team organizes and delivers its work, collaborating with the HR Analyst and TSS when system or automation solutions are necessary.
• Assist in change management efforts by ensuring program launches are communicated effectively, punctually, and in a manner that resonates well with both employees and managers.
• Partner with HR leadership to lead HR projects with multidisciplinary teams, focused on improving operational efficiency and enhancing employee morale.
• Create and deliver communications that simplify complex HR processes into clear, accessible, and employee-friendly language across various channels.
• Oversee learning and development programs, including our compliance training platform and any vendor relationships that support the broader initiative.
• Manage the new hire orientation program from start to finish, continuously improving the experience as the organization evolves.
• Organize and implement employee events in collaboration with cross-functional partners, ensuring consistent quality and flawless logistics.
• Act as the People Team's liaison for Magic Leap's Community Resource Groups, providing operational support, direction, and coordination.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources, Communications/Public Speaking, or Project/Program Management-related position.
• Proven ability in end-to-end program management, including project planning, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Practical knowledge of HRIS platforms (such as Bob or similar) and experience with performance management tools like Culture Amp is advantageous; however, a willingness to learn and work with HR technology is essential.
• Excellent written communication skills with the capacity to convert complex or technical HR content into clear, employee-centric language.
• Experience executing cyclical HR programs such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, and engagement surveys from planning through to completion.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple workstreams concurrently without losing focus on priorities or neglecting details.
