πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and manage the MEAL system throughout its start-up, implementation, and close-out phases.

β€’ Provide technical support for the design, tools, and methodologies of MEAL.

β€’ Analyze both qualitative and quantitative MEAL data, ensuring high standards of data quality and management.

β€’ Utilize data analysis and reflective practices to enhance ongoing project activities.

β€’ Ensure adherence to donor and agency MEAL requirements.

β€’ Convey MEAL strategies and findings to program colleagues and partners.

β€’ Foster collaborative relationships with partner staff, volunteers, and community members.

β€’ Share insights and experiences from MEAL in regional discussions.

β€’ Assist in the planning, budgeting, and execution of MEAL activities.

β€’ Identify capacity needs of partners and contribute to their capacity building.

β€’ Provide training to project stakeholders on the MEAL system and donor requirements.

β€’ Aid in the production of donor reports and organize quarterly meetings with partners.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in International Development, International Relations, Sociology, Statistics, MEAL, or a related discipline.

β€’ A minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience in coordinating or managing light to moderately complex projects.

β€’ Preferred experience with an international NGO.

β€’ Proven ability to communicate with communities and implement accountability mechanisms.

β€’ Leadership experience in MEAL is preferred.

β€’ Experience in engaging with partner organizations is preferred.

β€’ Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

β€’ Familiarity with SPSS, Stata, or R is preferred.

β€’ Experience with web conferencing tools and information management systems is preferred.

β€’ Project MEAL management experience in Latin America and the Caribbean is highly desirable.

β€’ Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis and database management skills.

β€’ Excellent communication and writing skills for reporting in English.

β€’ Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

β€’ Must be willing and capable of traveling up to 35% of the time.
