This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct project planning and execution for extensive fulfillment center developments, encompassing greenfield facility launches and transitions from inception to go-live.
• Oversee comprehensive coordination of automation system implementations (goods-to-person, conveyor/sortation, WMS integration) in collaboration with automation vendors and internal IT teams.
• Establish project scope, milestones, resource needs, and success metrics; maintain thorough project plans and hold workstream leaders accountable for adhering to timelines.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments (Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, HR, etc.) to align project goals and ensure smooth execution.
• Work alongside Operations, Finance, and Real Estate to create and sustain capital and labor models that inform facility investment decisions.
• Manage relationships and deliverables with vendors across automation, construction, and equipment; escalate risks and enforce vendors' compliance with contractual obligations.
• Promote cross-functional communication among Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance to guarantee alignment on project progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Recognize and address project risks; proactively present issues to leadership with clear alternatives and recommendations.
• Conduct post-launch performance evaluations to verify throughput, labor, and cost assumptions against design targets; incorporate lessons learned into future facility designs.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives throughout the fulfillment network in conjunction with the CI team.
• Develop and maintain operational and financial models (volume forecasts, labor planning, capacity utilization) to support facility design and investment choices.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication and clear expectations.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of program management experience in supply chain, fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a related distribution/logistics area.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale capital projects/programs ($5M+) including vendor contracts and equipment procurement.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional projects with multiple simultaneous workstreams across Operations, IT, Finance, and external partners.
