This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Oversee program management for a portfolio encompassing 3 to 5 countries involved in both STRIDES and EpiC initiatives.
• Act as the primary HQ contact for the assigned country programs.
• Manage in-country program staff and ensure effective start-up, execution, and closure in collaboration with local teams and other FHI 360 departments.
• Direct project initiation, workplan formulation, and budget creation alongside technical and finance personnel.
• Coordinate with project offices on program management and implementation; guarantee adherence to both internal and external regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Health, Nutrition, International Development, Social Science, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Project Management (PM) Certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project management principles and practices.
• At least 2 years of experience in line management is required.
• Experience supervising senior-level staff is essential.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish is required; fluency is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private sector is necessary.
• Experience in launching new programs internationally is preferred.
• Previous involvement in global health projects, including those supported by USG and PEPFAR, is preferred.
• FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base salary to a money purchase pension plan account.
