This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee program management for a portfolio encompassing 3 to 5 countries involved in both STRIDES and EpiC initiatives.
β’ Act as the primary HQ contact for the assigned country programs.
β’ Manage in-country program staff and ensure effective start-up, execution, and closure in collaboration with local teams and other FHI 360 departments.
β’ Direct project initiation, workplan formulation, and budget creation alongside technical and finance personnel.
β’ Coordinate with project offices on program management and implementation; guarantee adherence to both internal and external regulations.
β’ Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Health, Nutrition, International Development, Social Science, or a related field.
β’ A Master's degree is preferred.
β’ Project Management (PM) Certification is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project management principles and practices.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in line management is required.
β’ Experience supervising senior-level staff is essential.
β’ Professional proficiency in Spanish is required; fluency is preferred.
β’ Prior experience working in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private sector is necessary.
β’ Experience in launching new programs internationally is preferred.
β’ Previous involvement in global health projects, including those supported by USG and PEPFAR, is preferred.
β’ FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base salary to a money purchase pension plan account.
