Program Manager – EMR Modernization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of approximately $30 million allocated for EMR modernization.

• Provide support to more than 70 rural healthcare organizations across the state.

• Act as the main technical point of contact for healthcare entities.

• Assist in the planning, execution, project oversight, and adoption of EMR modernization projects.

• Coordinate activities related to provider implementation.

• Offer technical assistance as needed.

• Perform assessments to evaluate readiness.

• Facilitate the planning of projects.

• Monitor key milestones throughout the process.

• Manage communications with vendors.

• Keep track of implementation progress.

• Create educational materials.

• Aid in redesigning workflows.

• Identify and escalate potential implementation risks.

• Assist healthcare organizations in the transition to next-generation electronic medical records.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Between 5 and 7 years of experience in healthcare IT.

• Experience with EMR implementations is essential.

• Proven project management experience.

• Knowledge of interoperability is preferred.

• Must be able to work remotely from within the United States.

• Frequent travel to and within Maine is necessary.

• Employment is contingent upon the confirmation of funding.

• Candidates must pass rigorous reference and background checks.

• Adherence to standards regarding sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority, discrimination, and child safeguarding is mandatory.
