This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Direct a high-achieving team of Senior Leads and Instructional Designers focused on creating training content.
• Manage the project intake process by evaluating incoming requests and ensuring projects are allocated to the suitable team members.
• Supervise the complete project lifecycle from initiation through to completion.
• Conduct thorough reviews of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), over-effort hours, and L1/L2 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) outcomes.
• Act as the main point of contact for client communications.
• Assist in the onboarding of new team members and hold regular one-on-one meetings.
• Over 8 years of experience in managing large-scale projects or programs.
• More than 5 years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D), Instructional Design, or Content Strategy.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing people.
• Demonstrated experience in a highly regulated or technical industry (such as Aviation, Transportation, Energy, Automotive Manufacturing, AI/Tech, or Medical Services).
• Expertise in Project Management software (like Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) and familiarity with Design tools (Articulate, Rise/Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Proven capability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making (Experience with SQL or advanced Excel/Sheets data visualization is essential).
• Outstanding client-facing presentation abilities, conflict resolution skills, and the capacity to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• A BA/BS degree in Learning Development, Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Instructional Design or Curriculum development.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in documentation, technical writing, and narrative scripting.
