This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
β’ Provide management support for both current and upcoming Air Force Weather Expeditionary Weather (ExMET) systems, as well as research and development initiatives.
β’ Assist in the execution of contracts and agreements pertaining to research and development, procurement, and operations and maintenance.
β’ Deliver independent analysis to facilitate life cycle planning and execution.
β’ Support efforts of the program Integrated Product Team (IPT), including requirements, management strategies, special studies, and tracking contract compliance.
β’ Evaluate acquisition policy issues and guidance that influence program timelines.
β’ Aid in the coordination and integration of IPTs, Long Range Plans, and associated Vision processes.
β’ Create reports and presentations for IPTs, Functional Managers, and high-level decision-makers.
β’ Oversee risk analysis, risk monitoring, and documentation utilizing the enterprise risk management tool.
β’ Provide inputs for management processes and metrics; handle and process requirements; and validate and verify technical proposals and recommended actions.
β’ Develop and sustain monthly metrics related to cost, schedule, and performance.
β’ Prepare RFP packages, MIPRs, milestone documentation, and other necessary acquisition program paperwork.
β’ Must be a citizen of the United States.
β’ Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.
β’ High School Diploma is required.
β’ A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
β’ Proficient knowledge and experience in applying DoD and Air Force acquisition processes, policies, procedures, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
β’ Experience managing critical elements of acquisition programs throughout the Acquisition Framework.
β’ Strong understanding of the Air Force Weather organizational structure, mission, and relationships.
β’ Experience in effectively communicating both orally and in writing to senior leaders and business partners.
β’ Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience (5 years supporting the DoD), or a Master's degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience (5 years supporting the DoD).
β’ Flexible remote work arrangement.
β’ Salary range of USD $125,000.00β$130,000.00 annually.
β’ 20% CONUS travel requirements.
