Program Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold program budgets along with financial forecasts.

• Monitor and report on program expenditures, comparing actuals to budgets, and pinpointing variances.

• Evaluate financial data to uncover risks, opportunities, and trends for program leadership.

• Oversee procurement processes, Statements of Work (SOWs), accruals, invoicing, and financial reconciliation for the program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• 2-3+ years of pertinent experience in a financial analyst role or a similar finance position.

• Experience in a project-based or program management setting is highly preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH, along with data analysis.

• Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis.

• A solid grasp of accounting concepts, particularly concerning accruals, invoicing, month-end closures, and reconciliation procedures.
