Program Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in implementing programs within the Defense Manufacturing and Platform Development Modernization portfolios.

• Oversee the execution of a portfolio of program baselines and suggest actions to ensure impeccable program delivery.

• Contribute to proposal initiatives by offering financial insights, creating cash flow analyses, and aiding in business case and profitability assessments.

• Organize and supervise a variety of activities within the program finance organization while leading a skilled team of professionals.

• Provide vision and strategic insights, as well as recommend policies and processes for the commercial space sector.

• Cultivate an understanding of customer missions and requirements to offer intricate, customized feedback.

• Spearhead the development of new products and processes tailored to complex customer needs.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to influence policies, practices, and procedures beyond the finance team.

• Identify programmatic risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and propose and implement cost-saving measures.

• Assist with on-contract growth and new business proposals, helping to formulate successful bids.

• Develop and implement the commercial space program’s Annual Operating Plan, along with quarterly financial forecasts and EACs.

• Aid in month-end closing and conduct variance and trend analyses.

• Align initiatives with the objectives of the Division and Business Area.

• Manage cash flow processes, including tracking milestone completions, collections, and optimizing inventory.

• Oversee indirect budgets supporting various emerging programs within the Kinetic Effects Business Area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with various contract types, such as FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus, and hybrid contracts.

• Understanding of contract terms and conditions, along with billing/reporting requirements.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
