Program Director – Heartbeat

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, governance, program management, and structured implementation of GE HealthCare’s Heartbeat Business System.

• Convert enterprise strategy into coordinated, measurable actions among cross-functional Improvement Priority teams.

• Take ownership of the complete Hoshin Kanri program plan, including milestones, risks, and escalation pathways.

• Maintain an 18-month rolling calendar in collaboration with Improvement Priority leaders and Communications.

• Manage program timelines, annual budget planning, and resource alignment across Improvement Priority teams.

• Create executive-ready progress and impact reports for the Leadership Team, Board, and senior governance forums.

• Facilitate weekly Improvement Priority coordination meetings and the operational cadences of the Office of Heartbeat.

• Coordinate efforts across segments, regions, and functions within a global matrix structure.

• Lead the creation of the monthly L0 agenda and oversee KPI governance activities.

• Convert performance data into actionable countermeasures and validate results.

• Assist with Bootcamp program management, dashboards, cohort planning, and leader assignments.

• Support Heartbeat bootcamps, provide leader coaching, and train on Heartbeat fundamentals.

• Integrate standard work, daily management, problem-solving, kaizen, value stream mapping, and action planning.

• Work collaboratively with Change Management to enhance the adoption of the Heartbeat Business System and Heartbeat Behaviors.

• Propel cultural and operational transformation aimed at improving EBITDA and free cash flow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required; Master’s Degree is preferred.

• At least 10 years of experience in program/project management, General Management, or a lean/operational leadership position.

• Minimum of 7 years leading complex, cross-functional programs in a global matrix setting.

• Proven experience with Lean methodologies, including Hoshin Kanri, problem solving, daily management systems, standard work, and value stream mapping.

• Experience in preparing and delivering executive-level performance reviews to senior management.

• Familiarity with business processes in the medical equipment sector or other regulated industries.

• Proficient in using AI-enabled tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Experience with Change Management, preferably using the ADKAR framework.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Prepared to complete a drug screening, as necessary.
