This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer comprehensive academic, personal, college, and career guidance for learners at Penn Foster High School.
• Assist with Career Pathways, onboarding for learners, maintaining learner persistence, and facilitating access to support resources.
• Create scalable onboarding materials, orientations, communications, and support for key milestones.
• Identify barriers to onboarding and transitions, collaborating with internal teams to enhance the learner experience.
• Develop support systems for transitioning into pathways, program changes, returning after inactivity, graduation, and subsequent steps in education.
• Manage communications related to milestones, guidance resources, and support workflows across various teams.
• Formulate scalable guidance strategies that connect high school experiences, Career Pathway involvement, credentials, and interests to post-graduate success.
• Design resources, workshops, communications, and decision-support tools aimed at college navigation and career readiness.
• Collaborate with academic, college and career, and pathway teams to boost engagement, persistence, credential attainment, completion rates, and post-graduate transitions.
• Assist in the design of scalable Tier 3 support models, intervention playbooks, decision trees, escalation pathways, communication protocols, and resource libraries.
• Create tools for learner success and transition planning.
• Oversee, assess, and enhance intervention and escalation models.
• Utilize learner data and AI-driven support tools for exploration, triage, resource navigation, personalized guidance, and identifying emerging needs.
• Design scalable support mechanisms while retaining human expertise for complex and higher-need learners.
• Develop activities, resources, webinars, communications, and events to engage families.
• Coordinate family outreach efforts with LSAs and instructors.
• Facilitate access to academic, social, community, wellness, and other support resources.
• Create and manage materials related to mental health, wellness, crisis management, and community resources.
• Assist in establishing protocols for identifying concerns, documenting actions, escalating urgent matters, and referring learners to qualified external services.
• Provide LSAs and instructors with approved resources and guidance for well-being and escalation procedures.
• A Master’s degree in School Counseling.
• Three to five years of experience supporting learners in secondary, workforce, or career-connected educational settings.
• Background in college and career advising, postsecondary transition planning, learner success, retention, counseling, or MTSS programs.
• Familiarity with college exploration, admissions processes, financial aid awareness, credential and training pathways, career development, and workforce transition practices.
• Proven experience in designing support models, intervention workflows, guidance resources, or systems for learner engagement.
• Capability to develop and appropriately disseminate mental health and wellness resources, recognize situations needing escalation, and adhere to established referral protocols.
• Experience in utilizing data to enhance learner interventions, guidance programs, and post-graduate outcomes.
• Must reside in and work within the United States.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Expected to be on camera during meetings unless there are extenuating circumstances.
• Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
