This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and manage costs and schedules for contracts
• Conduct analyses and generate reports
• Create contract-work budgets and financial assessments, including funding profiles, sales projections, and variance evaluations
• Develop program plans to accurately capture requirements in projections and forecasts
• Execute financial risk evaluations and identify or mitigate cost-related risks
• Maintain records of expenditures, forecast future spending, and submit timely requests for additional government funding
• Integrate contractual modifications into documents and control systems while ensuring realistic cost and schedule baselines
• Collaborate with Program Management to formulate annual program budgets
• Enforce financial policies and oversee cost/schedule baseline data analysis
• Fulfill customer reporting obligations
• Generate estimates-to-completion, estimates-at-completion, and burn-rate analyses
• Evaluate contract profitability and create profit models; monitor project funding
• Plan, monitor, and report on projects across Cost Plus, T&M, and FFP contract types
• Compile monthly financial progress reports
• Work autonomously and contribute to a cohesive team through statistical reporting, analysis, and estimations
• Deliver written and verbal financial analyses to management
• Collaborate with program managers, senior management, contract employees, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, subcontract management, and prime-contract clients
• 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience with a master’s degree in a related field; or a high school diploma/equivalent combined with 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in project control with strong QA/QC capabilities
• Proven track record of providing written and verbal financial analysis reports to management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with program managers, proposal writers, and contract/pricing administrators
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and excellent presentation abilities
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Bonus: 3+ years of project control experience
• Bonus: Experience working with a DoD or military customer and/or contract
• Bonus: Experience in forecasting program financial data and creating profit models
• Bonus: Familiarity with CostPoint, Cognos, and OneStream
• Bonus: Knowledge of SOFA, Tax Equalization, PLC Coding, and Travel AAS Contract experience
