This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and manage costs and timelines on contracts.
• Conduct analyses and generate reports.
• Develop budgets for contract activities and perform financial analyses including funding profiles, sales forecasts, and variance evaluations.
• Create program plans to ensure that program requirements are integrated into plans and projections.
• Carry out financial risk evaluations to identify and mitigate cost-related risks.
• Ensure sufficient funding availability by maintaining precise records of expenditures, overseeing the creation of expenditure forecasts, and submitting timely requests for additional government funding.
• Integrate contractual modifications into documents and control systems by remaining informed about outstanding work on each contract to maintain realistic cost and schedule baselines.
• Collaborate with Program Management to develop annual program budgets.
• Enforce financial policies, and develop and manage analysis of cost/schedule baseline data.
• Support reporting requirements for customers.
• Create estimates-to-completion, estimates-at-completion, and burn rate evaluations.
• Analyze contract profitability and prepare profit models while tracking project funding.
• Engage in the planning, monitoring, and reporting of projects with diverse contract types, sizes, complexities, and risk levels: Cost Plus, T&M, and FFP.
• Responsible for numerous financial reports that detail the monthly progress of the project(s).
• Work autonomously while contributing to a cohesive team through statistical reporting, analysis, and estimates.
• Deliver written and verbal financial analysis reports to management.
• Collaborate with the program manager, senior management, company contract employees, and other functional areas including prime contract customers, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, and subcontract management.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in project control.
• Strong skills in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Previous experience supporting a DoD or military customer and/or contract.
• Experience in producing written and verbal reports to management concerning the financial analysis of each contract, directorate, and division.
• Effective communicator and team player capable of collaborating with program managers, proposal writers, and contract/pricing administrators to create a comprehensive financial package for new work effort solicitations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel (Advanced proficiency in Excel 2007 preferred), Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Must demonstrate analytical abilities, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
