Program Chair – Financial Planning, Financial Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Direct the Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning along with the Associate and Bachelor of Science in Financial Management programs.

• Provide strategic leadership for the programs through academic oversight, curriculum management, faculty supervision, instruction, evaluation, research, and collaboration with industry and professional organizations.

• Work in partnership with Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Transfer Credit, and various University departments to enhance student success.

• Lead the annual program evaluation activities.

• Ensure the quality of the curriculum, program evaluation, accreditation and certification compliance, faculty development, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses relevant to the discipline.

• Recruit, mentor, assign, observe, and assess faculty while promoting a collaborative and student-focused teaching atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Finance, Financial Planning, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the relevant discipline.

• At least five years of experience in university-level teaching.

• A minimum of five years in progressively responsible leadership or management roles.

• Proven track record in curriculum development, faculty leadership, assessment, and student engagement.

• Outstanding communication, collaboration, organizational, and leadership abilities.

• A strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.

• Capability to effectively juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced higher education setting.

• Professional qualifications such as Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) are highly preferred.
