Professional Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment of VidiNet Media Asset Management solutions within client environments.

• Collaborate with clients to identify their needs and aid in the design of solutions.

• Configure and manage media workflows (such as ingest, processing, metadata, and distribution).

• Provide support for system integrations, including third-party media and broadcasting systems.

• Facilitate REST API-based integrations with external systems.

• Engage in system configuration, testing, and activities related to going live.

• Work alongside internal teams (Product, Engineering, QA) to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

• Conduct or assist in customer workshops, documentation, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

• Contribute to enhancing delivery practices and implementation methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, System Integration, or related fields.

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Practical experience in designing or configuring BPMN workflows is advantageous (e.g., Camunda or similar workflow engines).

• Knowledge of media or broadcasting workflows is beneficial.

• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, or web services.

• Basic to intermediate understanding of SQL or data-driven systems.

• Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).

• Experience with Linux or containerized environments (e.g., Docker) is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is advantageous.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
