This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support client personnel in the daily operation and maintenance of Fortinet products.

• Create methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates.

• Formulate test plans and evaluate new features and/or releases.

• Confirm configurations and apply best practices.

• Conduct interoperability assessments of devices interacting with Fortinet solutions.

• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client personnel.

• Build and sustain core expertise in Fortinet products and technologies.

• Address and/or escalate issues promptly.

• Collaborate with end users to outline specific daily tasks throughout the engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.

• More than 5 years of experience with network security products.

• At least 2 years of experience with Fortinet products.

• Experience as a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer is advantageous.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of security and networking principles and technologies.

• Familiarity with switching, routing, load balancing, and WiFi.

• Knowledge of firewall, IPS, VPN, antivirus, antispam, web filtering, and application control systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.

• Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working independently as well as in collaborative, team-oriented settings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, timelines, project modifications, and adjustments.

• Capability to gain cooperation from upper management, clients, and various departments.

• Proficiency in guiding projects to successful completion with political sensitivity.

• High level of commitment and a self-motivated approach.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
