Production Support Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Assist in the Blast and Brake Forming sectors

• Provide raw materials and components to operators in the Blast and Brake forming areas as required

• Remove completed or processed items from workstations and transfer them to designated locations

• Move work sections between staging zones and operational workstations

• Organize and keep staging areas orderly with clear job number designations

• Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for subsequent cycles or processes

• Interpret and comprehend work orders, production tags, labels, and basic schematics

• Uphold a safety-first, clean, organized, and hazard-free working environment

• Anticipate team requirements and contribute to ongoing improvements and overall production efficiency

• Execute additional duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support roles

• Forklift certification or a willingness to obtain it

• Basic math and inventory management skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

• High School Diploma or GED is required

• Must have basic tools including gear wrenches, impact guns, torque wrenches, and both metric & standard sockets

• Ability to stand, squat, and kneel for extended periods may be necessary

• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift items weighing up to 50lbs

• Must be able to read and understand basic schematics and blueprints

• Effective communication skills using phones or computer software are essential

• Must be capable of accessing and navigating each department at the assigned facilities

• Must be willing to travel between MCG locations as needed, with some trips potentially requiring overnight stays
