Production Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assist the FIS Credit Risk Manager, FIS Risk Analytics Manager, and FIS Enterprise Risk Hub applications.

• Implement application release updates for these systems.

• Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives for the applications.

• Provide support for production systems used by major financial institutions.

• Oversee changes to production systems.

• Ensure adherence to policies and standards.

• Maintain regular communication with key internal stakeholders, including the Client Experience and Professional Services teams.

• Take ownership of processes and data structures.

• Investigate and resolve various issues.

• Perform basic administration tasks for Microsoft Windows.

• Conduct basic administration for SQL Server.

• Engage in general troubleshooting activities.

• Strong technical skills, including familiarity with operating systems like Windows, databases, networking basics, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Capability to analyze intricate technical challenges, pinpoint root causes, and devise effective solutions.

• A logical and systematic approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent communication abilities for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Skill in articulating technical concepts clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.

• Previous experience (3-4 years) in customer service or technical support positions.

• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and tools.

• Ability to swiftly adjust to shifting priorities and environments.

• Prior experience with the FIS Credit Risk Manager application is a plus.
