Production Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Review, prepare, and manage both physical and electronic records for civil litigation purposes.

• Extract and archive files from CDs, USB drives, and hard drives.

• Print, scan, bind, and deliver records through FTP, online repositories, or physical shipment.

• Implement Bates labeling, OCR, bookmarking, and tabbing for both digital and physical records.

• Ensure that files adhere to quality control standards prior to delivery.

• Maintain internal databases while updating client profiles, tracking, and order notes.

• Collaborate with the billing department to guarantee accurate invoicing.

• Assist team members and supervisors with mail processing, supply stocking, and keeping the workspace organized.

• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.

• Operate in an office-based clerical environment utilizing computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.) is necessary.

• A general understanding of medical or legal records is preferred.

• Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions, or affidavits is advantageous.

• Comfortable working with PDFs and handling physical files.

• Consistent attendance and punctuality are expected.

• Ability to effectively convey information and respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers whose first language is English.

• No specific certificates, licenses, or registrations are required.

• Little to no travel is anticipated for this role.
