Production Safety Advisor – Expression of Interest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Foster a Safety-First Culture by cultivating strong, positive relationships with production teams and various departments.

• Work closely with Production Leadership to uphold a secure working atmosphere.

• Provide insights on regulatory safety requirements and ensure the uniform application of safety standards.

• Create and manage effective safety management systems and safety training initiatives.

• Support departments in conducting risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety regulations for high-risk activities.

• Oversee and present regular safety reports to production leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in production safety or a related domain.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve results and promote safety initiatives.

• Leadership experience in a safety management role is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge in contractor safety, construction management, safety training, and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., WorkSafe BC, MOL Ontario, CNNST, etc.).

• Capability to manage multiple projects across various locations.
