Production Manager – Translation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the production workflow of translated manuscripts from the translation stage to final production readiness.

• Supervise AI-assisted translation, editing, language refinement, proofreading coordination, formatting reviews, and final quality assurance prior to publication.

• Evaluate AI-generated translations for accuracy, fluency, grammar, consistency, readability, and tone.

• Identify and address translation challenges, formatting discrepancies, and production mistakes.

• Collaborate with proofreading, formatting, design, publishing, and other production teams.

• Keep track of project timelines and production queues to ensure adherence to deadlines.

• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the production workflow.

• Maintain consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and editorial standards across translated editions.

• Utilize AI-powered translation, editing, and publishing tools to validate and enhance outputs.

• Monitor project progress, document revisions, and ensure deliverables meet company standards.

• Contribute to the enhancement of production workflows and AI-assisted publishing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional command of the English language.

• Professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, Portuguese, French, or Italian.

• Background in translation, localization, editorial production, publishing, or content quality assurance.

• Solid understanding of grammar, style, and editorial best practices.

• Familiarity with AI-powered writing, editing, or translation tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude, Gemini, or similar.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Capability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
