Production Manager – Translation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the workflow of translated manuscripts from the translation phase through to final production readiness.

• Supervise AI-assisted translation, editing, language refinement, coordination of proofreading, formatting review, and quality assurance prior to publication.

• Assess AI-generated translations for correctness, fluency, grammatical accuracy, consistency, readability, and appropriate tone.

• Detect and resolve translation challenges, formatting discrepancies, and production mistakes.

• Collaborate with proofreading, formatting, design, publishing, and other production teams.

• Keep track of project timelines and production queues to ensure deadlines are adhered to.

• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the production process.

• Maintain consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and editorial standards across all translated editions.

• Utilize AI-driven translation, editing, and publishing tools to verify and enhance outputs.

• Monitor project advancement, document changes, and ensure deliverables meet company standards.

• Engage in the continuous improvement of production workflows and AI-assisted publishing procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong command of the English language.

• Professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, Portuguese, French, or Italian.

• Background in translation, localization, editorial production, publishing, or content quality assurance.

• Solid understanding of grammar, style, and editorial best practices.

• Familiarity with AI-driven writing, editing, or translation tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.

• Outstanding attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
