Production Manager – Translation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the workflow of translated manuscripts from the translation phase to final production readiness.

• Administer and implement AI-supported translation, editing, language enhancement, proofreading coordination, formatting assessment, and final quality assurance prior to publication.

• Evaluate AI-generated translations for precision, fluency, grammar, consistency, readability, and tone.

• Recognize and rectify translation discrepancies, formatting irregularities, and production mistakes.

• Collaborate with proofreading, formatting, design, publishing, and other production teams.

• Track project schedules and production queues to ensure adherence to deadlines.

• Conduct quality assurance evaluations throughout the production lifecycle.

• Maintain consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and editorial standards across translated versions.

• Leverage AI-driven translation, editing, and publishing tools to validate and enhance outputs.

• Monitor project advancement, document changes, and ensure deliverables meet company standards.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of production processes and AI-assisted publishing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong command of English.

• Professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, Portuguese, French, or Italian.

• Background in translation, localization, editorial production, publishing, or content quality assurance.

• Comprehensive understanding of grammar, style, and editorial best practices.

• Experience with AI-driven writing, editing, or translation tools (such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude, Gemini, or similar).

• Strong organizational and time management abilities with capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality.
