Product Specialist – Brilliant Harvest

Posted Jun 19

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Review and input structured data from various documents and raw sources into our platform, including equipment service manuals, technical specifications, parts information, and operator guides.

• Utilize equipment domain expertise to ensure that data entries are technically precise, contextually relevant, and consistent with actual equipment usage in the field.

• Assign metadata, categories, and keywords to enhance searchability, consistency, and usability throughout the product.

• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and alignment of AI-generated or system-produced answers, recommendations, and outputs with the source documentation, flagging any misleading, incomplete, or technically incorrect information.

• Add contextual notes, corrections, or clarifications to enhance the precision and utility of product responses.

• Identify patterns, errors, or gaps in equipment data and escalate them as necessary to ensure nothing is overlooked.

• Act as a knowledgeable reviewer of product outputs, making sure that answers, search results, and recommendations reflect real-world equipment expertise rather than mere surface-level pattern recognition.

• Cross-reference product responses with source materials (service manuals, OEM documentation, technical bulletins) to validate factual accuracy.

• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of common equipment failure modes, maintenance procedures, and service workflows to better assess the quality of product outputs.

• Proactively identify instances where the product generates technically plausible yet incorrect, incomplete, or contextually missing answers regarding safety or procedures.

• Contribute to the development of internal QA checklists, rubrics, and benchmarks for evaluating answer quality over time.

• Collaborate closely with external partners to communicate requirements, provide clarifications, and ensure alignment with internal standards.

• Assist in managing work queues, assigning tasks (internally or externally), and tracking progress against deadlines.

• Critically review partner outputs for both process adherence and equipment accuracy, offering structured feedback and collaborating to continuously enhance quality.

• Help define, document, and refine data entry guidelines, workflows, and standard operating procedures, including equipment-specific guidelines for structuring and reviewing technical content.

• Identify inefficiencies in data processing workflows and suggest improvements.

• Monitor key metrics (accuracy rates, quality scores, throughput, turnaround time) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to accuracy, particularly when dealing with technical content.

• Practical or professional experience with heavy equipment, especially in agriculture or construction, is highly regarded.

• Ability to read and interpret equipment service manuals, technical specifications, or parts documentation.

• Proficient in evaluating whether a technical answer is correct, rather than just assessing if it sounds correct.

• Capability to adhere to structured guidelines and apply them consistently across extensive volumes of content.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

• Experience with data entry, annotation, or content management tools is advantageous — training will be provided.

• Basic project management or task coordination experience.

• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors or distributed teams.

• Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., spreadsheets, task management platforms).

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

🏝️ Benefits

• Join a proven team led by serial entrepreneur Remi Schmaltz, who has successfully exited two previous agriculture companies.

• Remote-first role with a flexible working environment.

• Opportunity to engage in significant projects within the expanding field of data and information management.

• Contribute to an innovative product team that is shaping the future of AI in the large equipment sector.

• A collaborative culture that prioritizes growth, learning, and impactful contributions.

• Competitive compensation, ESOP, and benefits.
