Product Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate new customer relationships and applications.

• Engage in face-to-face meetings with potential clients and existing customers.

• Supply market and application insights for designated sectors.

• Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as presentations, bulletins, and technical/sales manuals.

• Analyze customer specifications through data sheets, blueprints, or other documents to create a comprehensive proposal outlining: equipment type, pricing, delivery schedule, and financial terms for the specified products.

• Ensure proposals adhere to company standards and contractual language.

• Offer technical advice, installation guidance, and troubleshooting support to customers, sales teams, and other departments within the company.

• Promote and sell products to sectors including power generation, transmission and distribution, as well as other related market segments.

• Identify key prospects, conduct needs assessments, and generate and qualify leads.

• Formulate sales strategies to achieve or surpass set quotas.

• Maintain CRM systems in accordance with company protocols.

• Regularly track and report sales prospects, competitive challenges, revenue and profit expectations, etc., to management.

• Attend promotional events such as conferences, trade shows, and industry relations programs where potential customers are present.

• Effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels within the company, along with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

• Adhere to the company's policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.

• Uphold quality assurance policies in line with ISO standards.

• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.

• Consistent and reliable attendance is a crucial requirement for this role.

• Perform any additional job-related tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience in industrial lubrication oil or hydraulic equipment sales within the Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Generation, or Paper & Pulp sectors.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business or an equivalent combination of education and at least three (3) years of relevant outside sales experience in the aforementioned industries.

• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and following verbal instructions in Standard English.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Demonstrated skill in conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.

• A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are mandatory.

• Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time, with frequent overnight trips required.
