• Maintain extensive knowledge of Oracle financial reporting and data management solutions, particularly in Oracle-based environments.
• Advocate for assigned product(s) through targeted solution presentations aimed at driving land and expand opportunities.
• Take a proactive role in the sales process when opportunities are identified by BDR, Account Executive, or Account Manager teams.
• Offer both technical and functional support during solution design and proposal development phases.
• Evaluate the territories of prospects and clients for potential fits with Oracle reporting products and actively present those opportunities to Account Executive or Account Manager partners.
• Assist Solutions Engineers during product demonstrations by leveraging Oracle domain knowledge and providing functional context relevant to finance and accounting teams.
• Lead evaluations of legacy financial reporting systems and implement migration strategies, particularly with expertise in Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Fusion environments.
• Aid customers in transitioning from outdated Oracle ERP or financial reporting platforms to contemporary reporting solutions.
• Create migration roadmaps that reduce business disruption while enhancing product adoption.
• Provide specialized knowledge in financial reporting within Oracle architectures.
• Collaborate closely with BDRs, AEs, and AMs during the qualification of new opportunities, especially those involving Oracle ERP footprints.
• Work in partnership with Account Executives and Account Managers to convey value propositions and confirm product suitability for Oracle-centric clients.
• Team up with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to uncover additional use cases and promote expansion within existing accounts.
• Assist Solutions Engineers by sharing comprehensive Oracle functional and technical expertise.
• Extensive expertise in one or more Oracle platforms: Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle ERP, Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite), or Oracle Fusion.
• Strong comprehension of Oracle financial systems architecture, data models, and reporting limitations.
• Experience with financial reporting solutions designed for or integrated with Oracle environments, including management and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with financial data governance, controls, and audit requirements applicable to Oracle-based settings.
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes — including month-end closing and variance analysis — as implemented within Oracle platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors utilizing Oracle financial systems.
• Experience in articulating ROI and business value for initiatives focused on financial reporting transformation involving Oracle migrations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting standards (SOX, IFRS, GAAP) as they pertain to Oracle reporting environments.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting systems or related roles, with hands-on experience in Oracle required.
• Proven history of supporting enterprise software sales cycles related to Oracle ERP customers.
• Experience with intricate B2B sales processes in financial technology, preferably with Oracle as the underlying ERP.
• Background in consulting, implementation, or product management for Oracle financial reporting solutions is preferred.
• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
• Capability to translate Oracle's technical features into business outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a quota-carrying overlay role.
• Collaborative approach when working with cross-functional teams.
