This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Engage with both new and existing customers to meet sales booking targets.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities to enhance the company's market footprint, particularly within large, complex corporations that involve multi-step, consultative sales processes and lengthy sales cycles.
• Willingness to manage and travel across a large territory within the PSM’s region.
• Identify and share leads with other sales teams and channels to maximize sales potential.
• Explore innovative methods to support customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth customer experience and take ownership of customer success.
• Work closely with our technical team to provide high-quality product and solution demonstrations.
• Adhere to the ZEISS sales process to propose optimal solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Assist in sales and marketing events to promote our products and engage with prospective clients.
• Follow our established ZEISS Sales Process to customize the best solutions for each customer's specific requirements.
• Maintain our CRM system with up-to-date records of all sales activities, relationships, and the status of sales leads and opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• A background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is advantageous.
• 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in technical sales, ideally within the metrology or precision measurement systems sector.
