Product Owner – Project Manager (all genders)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and gain a comprehensive understanding of a specific business domain, such as billing and payment processes, while serving as the primary contact.

• Collaborate directly with accounting, support teams, partners, and customers to gather requirements effectively.

• Articulate features in detail, covering aspects such as states, transitions, notifications, user group permissions, exception and cancellation processes, admin views, and ongoing data management.

• Address any outstanding questions prior to the commencement of development.

• Assist the team in making informed decisions during the implementation phase.

• Prioritize tasks, align stakeholders, accept deliverables, and take charge of the rollout process.

• Make informed scope decisions and be prepared to defend them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Naturally consider potential scenarios where issues may arise (failure cases).

• Focus on user groups and permissions, rather than merely on user interfaces.

• Possess enough technical fluency to discuss data models, interfaces, and dependencies with developers.

• Have prior experience guiding a product or module from the initial requirement stage to production and operation.

• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies is appreciated, though not mandatory.
