Product Owner, Payments – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of significant implementations with Tier 1 bank partners and oversee the overall bank partner strategy.

• Design the multi-provider payments infrastructure encompassing acquiring, international money transfers, and partner banks.

• Guide the selection of vendors for new payment channels as Flex expands both domestically and globally.

• Collaborate to facilitate our MTL (Money Transmitter License) acquisition process.

• Manage the product implications related to the transition from partner-licensed to directly-licensed operations.

• Develop the framework for international money transfers across various corridors.

• Represent Flex in both technical and commercial discussions with the largest financial institutions worldwide.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain the implementation timeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 9+ years of experience in payments-specific product management.

• You have taken ownership of vendor relationships and technical implementations with leading payment providers.

• Experience with money transmitter licensing transitions is highly preferred.

• You are capable of engaging in technical discussions regarding ACH, wire transfers, card networks, real-time payments, and cross-border money movement without needing assistance.

• You have negotiated with at least one Tier 1 bank or payment network and can share insights from those experiences.
