Product Owner, Digital Learning Product – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will take ownership of three essential courses: Corporate Accounting & Financial Management, Practical Financial Accounting, and Financial Accounting with DATEV — possessing in-depth knowledge, ensuring they remain current, and facilitating their development.

• Create practical exercises and learning paths that mirror real-world workplace scenarios and enhance skill development.

• Proactively identify and report any gaps in the current course offerings.

• Brief, manage, and review contributions from external subject-matter experts, ensuring their input meets our standards.

• Conduct regular live sessions with participants, including webinars and Q&A sessions.

• Monitor the market landscape, including certifications, tools, exam regulations, and competitors.

• Actively incorporate AI tools into your workflow.

• Collaborate closely with Product Operations, media design, editorial, and the learning design team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in financial accounting, accounting, or tax consulting — you are familiar with the daily operations in this field.

• Proficient in using DATEV for bookkeeping, payroll, and preparing monthly and annual financial statements.

• Capable of clearly presenting complex subject matter and tailoring it to various learning levels.

• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and discern necessary tasks.

• Open to adopting digital work methods, AI tools, and thriving in a growing or early-stage environment.

• A training instructor certificate or AEVO certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

• No specific educational degree in pedagogy or education is required.
