Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the roadmap and continuous enhancement of designated platform functionalities.

• Weigh business value, customer requirements, and technical factors when making prioritization choices.

• Discover chances to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experiences.

• Retain ownership throughout the entire product lifecycle.

• Ensure a well-maintained, prioritized, and ready-for-delivery backlog.

• Convert business needs into precise functional requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Provide support to Engineering during development through timely clarifications and decision-making.

• Assess delivered solutions against established business objectives.

• Collaborate with QA to ensure successful business acceptance prior to release.

• Lead workshops and sessions for gathering requirements.

• Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and delivery expectations.

• Foster alignment among Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.

• Promote decision-making based on evidence and business value through collaboration.

• Track product performance and user adoption.

• Utilize operational insights, user feedback, and data to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Contribute to the establishment of Product standards, governance, and best practices.

• Aid in the ongoing development of the Product organization.

• Extensive experience as a Product Owner in software or digital platforms.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams.

• Strong skills in project management, backlog management, and prioritization.

• Experience in converting business requirements into clear product specifications.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven experience in delivering complex software products in Agile settings.

• Experience with platform products (desirable).

• Familiarity with Payments, Wallet, or Financial Platforms (desirable).

• Experience in the Social Casino, Gaming, or regulated industries (desirable).

• Background in supporting organizational or platform transformations (desirable).

• Experience working across various brands or markets (desirable).
