This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Implement a structured client feedback initiative that includes interviews, Client Services and Sales intake, and thematic analysis.
• Convert the needs of the agency, operations, and internal stakeholders into comprehensive requirements.
• Ensure that workflows accurately represent production usage across billing, case management, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify edge cases, configuration effects, dependencies, and data implications.
• Highlight underutilized features and pain points by analyzing usage data and engaging in client conversations.
• Generate AI-enhanced functional specifications that offer direct insights for development.
• Develop and optimize AI-assisted specification workflows and contribute to the AI-Directed Development Lifecycle.
• Transform client challenges into user stories, acceptance criteria, and interactive mockups.
• Maintain and advance UI and UX standards while modernizing legacy functionalities into Vue.
• Oversee and manage the ProviderSoft product backlog.
• Evaluate incoming cases and prioritize tasks based on client value, delivery costs, and operational stability.
• Balance technical debt and maintenance tasks with the development of new capabilities.
• Enhance triage efficiency and keep the backlog prepared for consistent sprint planning.
• Act as the primary day-to-day product liaison for the delivery team and resolve any blockers.
• Assist in creating test plans and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Ensure that release notes, documentation inputs, and internal enablement materials are thorough and complete.
• Collaborate with Client Services on change communication efforts.
• Track post-release adoption and feedback and manage follow-up tasks.
• Contribute to requirements and documentation for legacy modernization and long-term goals regarding UI, architecture, and ecosystem.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or a comparable delivery-oriented product role within B2B SaaS.
• Proven experience in creating structured specifications that developers can work from without needing extensive clarification.
• Proficient in AI tools, with daily use of Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies, along with specific AI workflows.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting customer discovery, interviews, feedback synthesis, and converting qualitative insights into prioritized tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clarify ambiguity and independently generate specifications, user stories, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
• Familiarity with mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma or Balsamiq.
• Strong background in defining requirements for complex, workflow-driven, or legacy-rich platforms.
• Preferred: experience in leading or advocating for AI-Directed development practices.
• Preferred: depth in UX and design, including design systems thinking, user research methodologies, and accessibility awareness.
• Preferred: fluency in product analytics, including feature adoption, usage telemetry, and funnel analysis.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare, EdTech, or regulated-industry SaaS.
• Preferred: experience with legacy modernization initiatives that bridge old and new architectures.
• Preferred: experience with hosted enterprise operational software catering to diverse customer operating models.
