This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide clarity for teams by transforming intricate healthcare requirements, operational necessities, and cross-departmental feedback into actionable strategies for engineering and design teams.
• Take ownership of and enhance the product backlog, ensuring that user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases are thoroughly articulated for development teams.
• Facilitate daily Agile delivery ceremonies, including planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives by utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Convert high-level product strategies and operational insights into actionable, well-organized technical requirements and workflows.
• Foster trust among cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Clinical Operations, and Care Coordinators) as an emotionally intelligent connector who calmly resolves conflicting priorities.
• Oversee feature delivery timelines and release schedules to ensure consistent, high-velocity output from the team.
• Utilize data to craft compelling narratives that promote objective decision-making, employing usage metrics, operational analytics, and bug reports to guide feature triage, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional trade-offs.
• Track sprint metrics, delivery velocity, bug counts, and release health to uncover bottlenecks and promote ongoing process enhancements.
• Integrate continuous user feedback, usability testing results, and operational analytics into sprint iterations with a growth-oriented mindset.
• Maintain transparent communication with internal stakeholders regarding release schedules, delivery risks, and changes in feature scope.
• Ensure that all digital tools and feature updates adhere strictly to healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and patient data privacy standards.
• Enhance operational efficiency by standardizing user story templates, acceptance criteria formats, and sprint documentation within Jira and Confluence.
• A genuine enthusiasm for utilizing product delivery to improve healthcare access for transgender individuals.
• 3–5+ years of practical experience as a Product Owner, Delivery Lead, or Senior Business Analyst, with a proven history of successfully delivering software features.
• Strong familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), story writing, acceptance criteria definition, and the execution of deliveries.
• A collaborative approach focused on *getting it right, not being right*. Proven ability to communicate effectively, build trust, and handle challenges with composure.
• Established capability to write clear, user-facing release notes and detailed how-to guides to facilitate feature launches and encourage internal/external adoption.
• An open and adaptable mindset that sees feedback, edge cases, and shifting requirements as opportunities for learning and iteration.
• Demonstrated experience with third-party API integrations and a solid technical understanding of backend versus frontend concepts (*hands-on coding or HTML/CSS writing is not required*).
• Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, G Suite, and Google Data Studio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• High accuracy in crafting user stories, testing edge cases, and ensuring that requirements are clear and unambiguous for engineering teams.
