This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and implement digital product ownership and delivery in alignment with the organization's objectives
• Create and enhance product strategy informed by business objectives and market dynamics
• Establish and sustain product roadmaps detailing milestones, features, and deliverables
• Perform market research, gather user feedback, and conduct competitive analysis to outline product requirements
• Develop and prioritize actionable user stories that reflect the product vision
• Drive Agile execution, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders, collect feedback, manage expectations, and foster alignment
• Spearhead product launches, evaluate performance metrics, and enhance product value and customer experience
• Track trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to pinpoint opportunities for innovation
• Oversee product documentation, encompassing user guides, release notes, and technical specifications
• Operate autonomously with ownership and accountability; undertake additional duties as required
• Assist in digital experiences for AACN's annual NTI conference and possibly other product initiatives
• Travel occasionally as needed
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years of experience in project/product management and business analysis
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity with a record of successful digital product delivery
• Robust understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies and product management best practices
• Strong project management and business analysis capabilities, including product backlog creation and upkeep
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
• Capability to articulate product strategy and maintain detailed product roadmaps
• Experience in conducting market research, analyzing user feedback, and assessing competitive environments
• Proficiency in leading Agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
• Familiarity with project/product management tools and software, including Azure, Azure Boards and DevOps, SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence
• Competence in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Google Suite: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Forms
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while exercising discretion and accountability
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Sketch or Figma is advantageous
• An MBA is a plus
• Occasional travel is required
• Physical capability to engage in prolonged desk work, frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, typing, and mouse usage
• Adequate visual acuity and auditory ability to read screens/materials and comprehend verbal communication
