This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Develop and uphold the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ntara’s internal AI projects.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize AI and automation opportunities that align with organizational objectives.
• Convert ambiguous business challenges and emerging AI capabilities into actionable initiatives.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, which includes epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Make prioritization decisions by weighing feasibility, data readiness, business impact, and effort.
• Act as the main point of contact for delivery teams, resolving obstacles and clarifying requirements.
• Connect business stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, and leadership effectively.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and outline requirements, workflows, and success metrics.
• Provide updates on the roadmap, demos, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Collect internal user feedback and modify the backlog and roadmap accordingly.
• Advocate for responsible AI practices, emphasizing data privacy, bias, transparency, and human oversight.
• Establish quality, performance, and evaluation criteria for AI features.
• Track the adoption and performance of deployed AI capabilities.
• Keep documentation of decisions, requirements, and known limitations up to date.
• Drive change management and enablement for the adoption of AI tools and workflows.
• Identify and mitigate training, workflow, and trust challenges.
• Build the business case and communicate the value of AI initiatives to stakeholders and executives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a formal degree.
• Agile or Scrum certification, such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent, is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar product leadership position.
• Proven ownership of a product roadmap and backlog.
• At least 2 years of experience directly working on AI, machine learning, or data-driven product initiatives.
• Experience with generative AI or agentic workflows is highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading product initiatives from discovery through to launch and adoption.
• Experience in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.
• Familiarity with facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Proven experience presenting product strategy and outcomes to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in driving change management or adoption initiatives for new tools, workflows, or technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including large language models, generative AI, and agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience in writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for both traditional software and AI-driven features.
• Familiarity with data quality, data governance, and data requirements essential for successful AI products.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, transparency, and human oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in consulting, agency, or professional services is a plus.
• Familiarity with PIM, DAM, or e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
• Experience in prompt design, model evaluation, or collaboration with data science and engineering teams is a plus.
