This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Define and uphold the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ntara’s internal AI initiatives in alignment with company objectives.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize AI and automation opportunities that enhance internal processes, delivery quality, or client outcomes.
• Convert ambiguous business challenges and emerging AI capabilities into sequenced initiatives.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, which includes epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinements, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Make prioritization decisions by balancing technical feasibility, data readiness, business impact, and effort required.
• Act as the primary liaison for delivery teams and clarify requirements as needed.
• Connect business stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, and leadership effectively.
• Conduct discovery sessions and establish requirements, workflows, and success metrics for AI use cases.
• Present updates on the roadmap, demos, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Collect internal user feedback and adjust the backlog and roadmap accordingly.
• Advocate for responsible AI practices, including data privacy, bias mitigation, transparency, and human oversight.
• Establish quality, performance, and evaluation criteria for AI features.
• Monitor the adoption and performance of deployed AI capabilities.
• Keep documentation of decisions, requirements, and known limitations up to date.
• Drive change management and enablement for the adoption of AI tools and workflows.
• Identify and address barriers related to training, workflows, and trust.
• Develop business cases and effectively communicate the value of AI initiatives to stakeholders and executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a formal degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product leadership position.
• Proven track record of ownership over a product roadmap and backlog.
• At least 2 years of direct experience with AI, machine learning, or data-driven product initiatives.
• Experience with generative AI or agentic workflows is preferred.
• Experience leading product initiatives from discovery through launch and adoption is essential.
• Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience presenting product strategy and outcomes to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing change or adoption efforts for new tools, workflows, or technologies.
• Prior experience in consulting, agency, or professional services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including large language models, generative AI, and agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for both traditional software and AI-driven features.
• Familiarity with data quality, governance, and requirements for AI products.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, transparency, and human oversight.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with PIM, DAM, or e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
• Experience with prompt design, model evaluation, or collaboration with data science and engineering teams is a plus.
• Agile or Scrum certification (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Location in Guatemala is required.
• A working schedule aligned with EST is preferred.
