Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Grasp customer requirements, personas, engagement motivators, challenges, and competitive landscape.

• Leverage generative and agentic AI to provide tangible customer benefits within the Kainos Smart Test Product for Workday.

• Assess measurable customer value utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Facilitate requirements workshops with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Foster collaboration among engineering, sales, pre-sales, marketing, and professional services teams.

• Employ AI to expedite discovery and prototype development.

• Oversee roadmap execution by formulating user stories, establishing success criteria, and monitoring results.

• Ensure product delivery aligns with corporate objectives and values.

• Introduce products and features, facilitating delivery, pre-sales, and onboarding while promoting adoption.

• Participate in marketing initiatives and assist sales through product demonstrations.

• Define MVP and Early Adopter Programs, covering expectations, timelines, customer profiles, acceptance criteria, and exit gates.

• Recognize and mitigate business and project risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment.

• Proficient in managing backlogs, collaborating with development teams, and prioritizing roadmaps.

• Proven track record in delivering customer value through generative or agentic AI.

• Capability to link product investments with measurable customer outcomes and value.

• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to engage effectively with clients and users.

• Skilled in navigating competing priorities and aligning various stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication, persuasion, negotiation, listening, and relationship-building abilities.

• Relevant commercial experience in Test Automation and/or HCM, Payroll, Financial, or Recruitment systems.

• Willingness to travel to customer and partner sites globally as needed.

• Experience with Workday is preferred.

• Passion for emerging technologies and innovation, particularly in agentic and generative AI.

• Strong understanding of AI trends and AI-driven development methodologies.
