This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

đź“‹ Description

• Develop and deliver internal data and AI solutions that support Product and Engineering teams in gaining insights into product usage, customer challenges, and the most significant opportunities for enhancement.

• Examine extensive datasets, both structured and unstructured—including product telemetry, support tickets, customer interactions, feature requests, surveys, and product metadata—to uncover patterns that may be challenging to identify manually.

• Transform one-time analyses into dependable, repeatable tools and processes with well-defined data standards, quality assurance, documentation, and feedback mechanisms.

• Convert complex insights into straightforward, actionable recommendations, while maintaining the underlying evidence and methodology.

• Manage projects from start to finish: define the issue, identify and link the appropriate data, create the initial version, launch it, evaluate its adoption and quality, and pursue ongoing improvements.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools judiciously—scrutinizing outputs, troubleshooting issues, and exercising sound judgment rather than assuming generated content is inherently correct.

• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles as we expand globally and open new offices.

• Recruit, nurture, and lead a diverse, engaged, and high-performing team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–5 years of professional experience in roles such as product operations, data or product analytics, business operations, consulting, technical product management, or similar fields where you've addressed ambiguous challenges using data and technology.

• A proven history of developing and delivering valuable solutions for actual users—such as an internal tool, application, dashboard, automation, data product, or consistent analytical workflow.

• Experience in organizing and analyzing complex or extensive datasets, validating outcomes, and clarifying what the analysis demonstrates and what it does not.

• Strong judgment regarding products and customers: your focus is on the user issue and business result, rather than solely on technology.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are capable of articulating technical or analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders without omitting crucial details.

• High levels of ownership, curiosity, and meticulousness. You are adept at rapid learning, asking insightful questions, forming opinions, and navigating through uncertainty.

🏝️ Benefits

• Above-market total compensation

• Performance-based bonus/variable pay

• Equity (for eligible roles)

• Flexible, employee-led remote model

• Professional development stipend
