This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Oversee the formulation and implementation of marketing strategies, encompassing positioning, promotion, sales, and marketing initiatives, as well as launch planning to enhance awareness and stimulate demand for both existing and new products.
• Develop a strategic plan that aligns with sales objectives to foster business expansion.
• Plan, execute, and assess key marketing initiatives, including campaign creation and sales execution, to achieve strategic business unit targets within budget while adhering closely to branding guidelines.
• Maintain regional dashboards that clarify the execution of key initiatives and the supporting assumptions.
• Act as the primary expert on products and serve as a knowledge resource for customers, sales, R&D, product engineering, and service teams.
• Provide consultation on product design, development, and the release process roadmap.
• Offer insights on requirements for current and future products through market research, data collection and analysis, trends, customer attitudes and behaviors, as well as an assessment of the competitive landscape.
• Coordinate the gathering, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product features from customers, with a strong focus on teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
• Assist marketing, sales, and clinical support teams by developing and maintaining various technical marketing materials such as application notes, FAQs, product documentation, user guides, field training presentations, online marketing content, and demonstrations.
• Acquire comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of competitive products and maintain a technical analysis of their strengths and weaknesses, feature sets, underlying technology, product workflow, usability, etc., to establish technical differentiation and feature/benefit statements.
• Gather input from customers, prospects, and partners (through customer calls, user groups, site visits, tradeshows, surveys, win/loss analyses, etc.) to grasp market challenges and requirements.
• Ensure a clear understanding of product supply (including regional allocation) in collaboration with Global Supply Chain and Global Marketing, and manage allocation within the region while ensuring customer satisfaction regarding any supply issues.
• Guarantee regional forecast accuracy for products within business units by working closely with sales and demand planning.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A Bachelor's degree in a business or clinical field is required. An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of product management experience, ideally in a related field, with a proven history of developing and supporting clinical, patient-focused technologies.
• This position is primarily sedentary.
• This role operates in a professional office setting and regularly utilizes standard office equipment.
• Typically requires travel 5-20% of the time.
