MBA Internship – GTM Analytics, AI Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• About Ottimate: An AI-driven accounts payable automation platform catering to restaurants, hotels, healthcare, and various multi-unit enterprises.

• About the Role: We are looking for a highly driven MBA or Graduate intern to collaborate directly with our GTM leadership team on strategic initiatives that utilize Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

• Responsibilities: You will assist in developing modern, scalable analytical frameworks while integrating traditional Business Intelligence (BI) with Generative AI capabilities.

• Potential Projects: Collaborate with leadership to co-design and prototype initiatives, utilizing advanced data-analysis capabilities of LLM.

• Deliverables: By the conclusion of the internship, the selected candidate will have produced tangible, high-impact assets that enhance our data maturity, including production-ready prototypes and executive-level briefs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Currently enrolled in an MBA program, Master’s in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Strategy, or a related graduate business field.

• High AI Literacy & Curiosity: You actively engage with Generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) as tools in your daily activities, research, or academic endeavors—particularly for data manipulation, information structuring, or basic scripting.

• Data & Querying Familiarity: Previous experience or solid academic background utilizing BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio) along with a foundational understanding of SQL (capable of reading, comprehending, and writing basic queries).

• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with complex datasets and operational metrics, transforming raw data into visual, executive-ready narratives.

• Systems Logic: Possesses strong logical reasoning; understands or is eager to learn how data flows across various enterprise systems (e.g., from CRM to data warehouses to BI).

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to independently navigate ambiguous problems.

• Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Basic knowledge of Python (particularly for data manipulation with Pandas).

• Familiarity with no-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n) applied to data workflows.

• Understanding of core SaaS, GTM, or financial metrics (LTV, CAC, Churn, Pipeline Velocity).
