This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
⢠The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) serves as Pantheonās market visionary, anticipating the future of the web and positioning Pantheon as the leading platform to reach it first.
⢠Develop and take ownership of Pantheonās forward-thinking product narrative, clearly articulating not only what we create today but also its significance for the future of the web.
⢠Produce high-impact content such as keynote narratives, manifestos, vision briefs, and point-of-view pieces that position Pantheon as a leader in the category and influence industry discussions.
⢠Regularly monitor market trends to identify shifts in how developers, marketers, and digital teams create and manage web experiences, translating these insights into refined positioning.
⢠Move beyond just addressing pain points to comprehend what customers aspire to become, crafting messaging that resonates with their ambitions rather than merely their issues.
⢠Develop positioning that links Pantheonās product roadmap to larger market opportunities, instilling a sense of urgency and excitement about upcoming developments among prospects.
⢠Oversee essential product messaging across the website, launch materials, and sales resources, ensuring that every interaction highlights both current value and future vision.
⢠Lead the narrative strategy for significant product launches, ensuring that these releases are perceived as important milestones within a broader story rather than mere feature introductions.
⢠Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure go-to-market strategies are rooted in a coherent and exciting vision rather than fragmented feature announcements.
⢠Provide Sales with the language, stories, and resources necessary to sell not only todayās product but also Pantheonās future trajectory, enabling customers to invest in our direction.
⢠Work closely with Product Management to stay ahead of the roadmap, influencing how new features are framed right from the early development stages.
⢠A minimum of 4 years experience in Product Marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, developer tools, or WebOps, with a proven history of creating compelling product narratives instead of just executing launches.
⢠Must possess hands-on experience in launching a brand-new product to market, managing everything from pre-launch positioning to initial adoption without any existing playbook, customer base, or category for reference.
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technology into inspiring stories that shape the market.
⢠Demonstrated capability to think beyond the immediate roadmap, connecting product choices to broader market trends and customer aspirations.
⢠Highly effective in collaborating across Product, Sales, and Marketing, with comfort in influencing without direct authority.
⢠Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
