Product Marketing Manager

Posted Jun 6

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Overflow's product positioning and messaging across all market segments — from small churches to large ministries — ensuring that every interaction communicates a clear, engaging, and distinct narrative.

• Create and uphold a messaging framework that converts product features into the language of generosity growth, rather than just technical specifications.

• Develop and amplify our migration narrative — transforming evidence points (such as a 12% increase in giving, over 90% migration in 8 weeks, and 112% retention) into a consistent, segment-specific story that fosters urgency and drives conversion.

• Establish competitive positioning that distinctly explains why Overflow excels compared to legacy systems and emerging competitors.

• Lead the comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for all product launches — including Tap and full-stack giving features, AI-driven tools, and new payment options.

• Construct the GTM playbook for Overflow, detailing launch tiers, cross-functional workflows, channel strategies, and measurement frameworks.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to infuse market and user insights into the product roadmap.

• Coordinate across departments with Marketing, Success, Partnerships, and Sales to ensure impactful launches reach every channel and stakeholder group.

• Develop the sales enablement toolkit from the ground up: including battlecards, pitch decks, segment-specific one-pagers, objection handling guides, and a fully operational demo environment.

• Address the AE messaging gap by creating educational resources that empower representatives to confidently convey Overflow's value proposition across all segments and deal sizes.

• Support the enterprise GTM motion with solution-focused collateral, case studies, and proof points that enhance AEs' credibility in complex transactions.

• Collaborate with Revenue Operations to pinpoint and act upon product-market signals that inform upsell and expansion strategies.

• Establish a customer marketing engine: including case studies, testimonials, and customer stories that demonstrate real outcomes and build social proof.

• Work with Customer Success to develop in-product enablement content, product documentation, and onboarding materials that shorten time-to-value and enhance adoption.

• Shape the in-product upsell narrative — partnering with Product and Growth to identify optimal moments, segments, and messaging to encourage Tap-to-full-stack conversion.

• Manage customer communications regarding product updates, migrations, and changes with clarity and care.

• Oversee competitive intelligence as an ongoing initiative — monitoring the church giving and generosity technology landscape and translating changes into actionable insights for Product and Sales.

• Conduct and synthesize user research to deepen our understanding of church leaders, pastors, administrators, and donors across various segments.

• Recognize market trends and whitespace opportunities that inform product strategy and GTM expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of product marketing experience, preferably within a growth-stage B2B SaaS or platform company progressing from early traction to substantial annual recurring revenue (ARR).

• Proven experience in establishing a Product Marketing Management (PMM) function or serving as an early product marketer — demonstrating the ability to create structure in unstructured environments.

• Strong expertise in positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy, supported by a portfolio that showcases both strategic thought and practical execution.

• Experience in creating sales enablement materials (such as battlecards, decks, and one-pagers) based on competitive and market insights, with a history of measurable sales impact.

• Experience in leading cross-functional product launches from start to finish, coordinating efforts among Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills — the ability to translate intricate product capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with non-technical buyers.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment requiring ruthless prioritization.

• An analytical mindset capable of leveraging data to inform creative and strategic decision-making.

• A genuine curiosity about the individuals we serve — a desire to understand church leaders, their challenges, and the significance of generosity in their communities.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive base salary along with equity and commission eligibility.

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents.

• Generous paid time off and company holidays.

• Paid parental leave.

• 401(k) retirement plan.

• A dedicated mental health and therapy stipend to support personal well-being.

• Team retreats and intentional in-person gatherings throughout the year.
