This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of Portside's product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across various products, modules, buyer segments, and user personas, continuously refining them.
• Convert product capabilities into clear and compelling business value for aviation clients, including aircraft management firms, flight departments, charter operators, fractional operators, lessors, and aircraft owners.
• Cultivate a profound understanding of Portside's buyers, users, decision-makers, and influencers by utilizing customer, market, and competitive insights to shape strategy.
• Collaborate closely with Product leadership and Product Managers to grasp roadmap priorities, product strategy, customer challenges, and competitive differentiation, translating these into market-oriented narratives.
• Spearhead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, significant releases, integrations, packaging updates, and strategic initiatives.
• Create and maintain essential product marketing materials, including pitch decks, product one-pagers, website content, demo narratives, release communications, FAQs, competitive battlecards, and customer-facing collateral.
• Work in partnership with Sales to enhance product positioning during customer interactions, demonstrations, RFPs, competitive evaluations, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Develop sales enablement resources and training programs that empower customer-facing teams to effectively articulate Portside's value, differentiation, customer outcomes, and proof points.
• Oversee competitive intelligence initiatives, including analyzing competitor positioning, strengths and weaknesses, market trends, pricing and packaging signals, and win/loss insights.
• Establish structured feedback mechanisms across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Implementation, and customers to pinpoint market opportunities, adoption barriers, customer needs, and expansion possibilities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to create customer stories, case studies, testimonials, ROI examples, and other proof points showcasing Portside's impact.
• Contribute to shaping Portside's category narrative and thought leadership in aviation technology, addressing themes such as operational efficiency, automation, AI-driven insights, data visibility, integrations, and owner experience.
• Assist in pricing, packaging, segmentation, and growth initiatives by incorporating customer, market, competitive, and sales-cycle insights into strategic decision-making.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to expedite market research, competitive intelligence, content creation, messaging development, and go-to-market execution while measuring and optimizing product marketing effectiveness.
• A minimum of 5 years of Product Marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment, supporting software products throughout their lifecycle.
• Proven track record in developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for software products.
• Experience in close collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in launching products, features, or strategic initiatives and assessing business impact.
• Proficient in creating sales enablement materials and supporting customer-facing teams throughout the sales process.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and effective manner.
• Analytical mindset with experience in leveraging customer, market, competitive, and performance data to inform decisions.
• Experience in conducting competitive analysis, market research, customer interviews, and win/loss analysis.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools to support market research, content development, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market execution.
• Background in B2B SaaS and/or complex sectors such as aviation, transportation, logistics, fintech, ERP, or operational software.
