This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.
• Define Shorthand’s market positioning, segmentation, and key value propositions.
• Gain insights into buyers, users, the market, and the competitive landscape, then codify those insights.
• Influence decisions regarding pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies.
• Establish use cases, messaging frameworks, and proof points to support both product-led and sales-assisted growth.
• Collaborate with customers to comprehend and compile Shorthand's value into reusable assets.
• Enhance deal narratives, address objections, and bolster sales confidence in collaboration with Sales.
• Develop sales enablement resources, such as presentations, one-pagers, objection-handling tools, and competitive positioning documents.
• Oversee product and feature launches from start to finish, including strategy, KPIs, narrative, and go-to-market execution.
• Maintain consistent messaging across website content, sales materials, lifecycle communications, and in-product interactions.
• Work alongside Product and Design teams to frame, name, and launch new features.
• Manage the creation and optimization of product pages.
• Contribute market insights and customer feedback to discussions around product strategy and roadmap.
• Report directly to the VP of Growth & Marketing while collaborating with the CEO, Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, or a related field, or comparable industry experience.
• Ideally, 8+ years of experience in product marketing or a closely related discipline.
• Preferably experience in B2B SaaS or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success in shaping positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Experience influencing pricing, packaging, or monetization decisions is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with leadership and teams from Sales, Product, and Marketing to impact product, pricing, and GTM decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to simplify complex product concepts into clear, buyer-centric messaging.
• Strong experience in producing or overseeing sales enablement materials that drive revenue results.
• Ability to merge strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• A passion for visual storytelling and effectively communicating product value online.
