Product Manager – Real Time Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Define the strategy, vision, and product roadmap to enhance the adoption of instant payments in Colombia and expand them to other countries in the region.

• Lead the end-to-end discovery and delivery process of the product, from ideation and initial iterations to mass production deployment.

• Connect various instant payment systems across the region, assessing and prioritizing interoperability opportunities.

• Prioritize alternatives that complement and strengthen existing products, utilizing data, user feedback, and business objectives.

• Manage the unit economics of the product, ensuring its profitability and sustainability.

• Interpret early user feedback and transform it into business opportunities.

• Understand the payment ecosystem and its relationship with the banking world to identify new product opportunities.

• Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership through data-driven insights, communicating strategy, progress, and risks.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in engineering, design, and data, ensuring agile execution of high quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in payments, fintech, or financial products.

• Proven experience leading the complete product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and scaling.

• Strong analytical skills with a background in data-driven decision making.

• Critical thinking focused on hypotheses and problems, with the ability to tackle challenges holistically.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills across various organizational levels.

• Experience working with agile methodologies and product lifecycle processes.

• Desired knowledge of instant payments and/or regulated banking products.

• Preferred knowledge of databases or languages such as SQL.

• A genuine interest or experience in applying artificial intelligence to product development is a plus.

• Previous experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams (technology, UX, data, finance, etc.) is desirable.
